Teaching Assistant Level 3

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our staff team.

We are looking for someone who can nurture, inspire and motivate pupils and has experience of working in a Primary school.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusive practice, with the ability to adapt support and learning approaches to meet the diverse needs of all pupils, including those with SEND, SEMH needs, and other barriers to learning. Work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement work programmes with individuals and groups, in or out of the classroom. This may include children who require detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting the teacher in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistants qualification
• Have good numeracy, literacy and communication skills
• Have the knowledge understanding and skills to support pupils learning
• Be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved
• Have the ethos and philosophy to build good relationships with children and parents, support daily routines in a stimulating and creative setting and help to provide rich experiences to enable our children to become effective learners
• Have a commitment to safeguarding and well-being of children
• Paediatric first aid or to complete within 3 months of commencement of the post
