Priestley College- Apprentice Careers Advisor & Work Placement Co-ordinator

Contract Type: Full Time, 37 hours per week. (Monday to Thursday 8.30 to 16.30, Friday 8.30 to 16.00) Term time (39 weeks) plus an additional 3 weeks in college closure time, 42 weeks in total.

Salary: Point 6 to 8 on the NJC Support Staff Scale (£25,558 to £26,343 FTE) Actual salary £23,780 to £24,510.

What you'll be doing

• Co-ordinating work experience, T Level industry placements and other work-related learning opportunities.
• Support UCAS, apprenticeship, employment and progression processes, including destination tracking.
• Help organise careers events, employer talks, open days, transition activities and careers fairs.
• You will complete a Career Development Professional Apprenticeship.

What we are looking for

• A good standard of education including GCSE Maths and English, Grade A*-C / 9-4 or equivalent qualification.
• An understanding of the FE sector and an awareness of sixth‑form colleges, T‑Levels, and employer‑led learning.
• A knowledge of CEIAG frameworks and awareness of Gatsby Benchmarks, LMI, and progression pathways.
• Interest in CEIAG. Genuine interest in careers education, employability, and supporting young people
