Job Title: Packaging Technician
Location: Spondon
Pay: £15.03 per hour (increasing to £17.69 after 12 weeks)
Our client is a global leader in the field of chemistry, providing material solutions used across a wide range of major industries. They are currently seeking Packaging Technicians to support the packaging, granulation and material handling operations on their site.
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday: 06:00 - 14:00

Working Hours:

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate packaging and granulation equipment
- Support material movement and forklift operations
- Ensure correct labelling and product compliance
- Inspect finished goods before dispatch
- Maintain 5S housekeeping standards
- Monitor materials and stock levels
- Maintain records/logs
- Follow HSE procedures
- Work as part of a team to meet targets
Skills and Experience:
- FLT Counterbalance Licence is desirable
- Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging production, warehouse environments preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive and flexible approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Positive attitude and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
