Duties * Assist teachers in delivering classroom instruction tailored to individual student needs, including those with disabilities or autism * Support students during lessons, activities, and transitions to ensure a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere * Provide one-on-one tutoring and mentoring to reinforce learning concepts and build student confidence * Implement creative writing exercises and other engaging activities to stimulate student creativity and communication skills * Monitor student behavior, provide encouragement, and promote social interaction among peers * Collaborate with educators and specialists to develop personalized learning plans for students requiring additional support * Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior incidents, and activity participation Skills * Experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings * Knowledge of special education strategies and experience supporting individuals with disabilities or autism * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and families * Ability to adapt teaching methods creatively to meet diverse learning styles and needs * Proven tutoring or mentoring skills that foster motivation and academic success * Creative writing skills to develop engaging lesson content and activities * Compassionate attitude with a passion for helping students succeed academically and socially Work Location: In person
