Senior Hydrogeologist

Dublin, Ireland Penguin Recruitment Senior Hydrogeologist Dublin €55,000 - €65,000 + Benefits Experienced in Hydrogeology and looking for a role where you can take greater ownership of projects while remaining technically involved? This Dublin role combines technical Hydrogeology with project delivery across renewables, infrastructure, power, industrial and built environment projects. You'll work within an established Hydrogeology & Hydrology team, taking responsibility for assessments, field programmes and project delivery. The Role You'll be involved in: * Planning and managing hydrogeological field programmes * Supervising borehole drilling, geological logging and well installation * Hydrogeological testing and groundwater/surface water monitoring * Interpreting data and developing Conceptual Site Models * Delivering Hydrogeological Risk Assessments and Impact Appraisals * Hydrogeological calculations, groundwater modelling and reporting * Preparing water chapters for Environmental Impact Assessment * Supporting water permitting and licensing work * Managing project delivery and liaising with clients and stakeholders You'll also gain exposure to hydrology, flood risk and drainage, working alongside specialists across the wider water and environmental disciplines. About You You'll have substantial experience in Hydrogeology and/or Hydrology, ideally gained within consultancy or a similar commercial environment, together with a degree in Geoscience, Hydrogeology, Hydrology or a related discipline. Experience delivering EIA water assessments, developing Conceptual Site Models and managing field programmes is particularly relevant. You'll also need strong technical reporting, project management and stakeholder engagement skills, together with knowledge of water permitting or licensing. GIS experience would be useful, and a full clean driving licence is required. Why Apply?
