Production Machine Operator Continental Shifts

To operate and support palletiser production equipment within the manufacturing environment, carrying out basic quality checks, completing required paperwork, and progressively learning additional machine stages to produce a variety of products.

THE ROLE:

• Start up and operate palletisers safely and in line with site procedures.
• Perform basic quality checks to ensure product meets required standards.
• Complete production and quality paperwork accurately and on time.
• Use computers to input machine data and select/set parameters for different products.
• Monitor machine performance during operation and report issues to the relevant team member.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area, following health and safety requirements.
• Progressively learn different stages of the production process as training develops.
• Support continuous improvement activities where required.

THE CANDIDATE:

• Experience operating machinery is preferred, but full training will be provided where needed.
• Able to work accurately and follow procedures consistently.
• Good attention to detail for quality checks and paperwork.
• Comfortable using basic computer systems/data entry.
• Must be reliable and able to work both days and nights on a 12-hour continental shift pattern.
• Safety-focused attitude.

SALARY & HOURS:

• 12-hour shifts on a continuous days/nights rotation.
• Continental shifts
• 36–48 hours per week

• £12.71 (Days)
• £13.98 (Nights)
