Process Operator

Pay: £15.23 per hour

Job description:

We are looking for an experienced Process Operator to join a busy paint manufacturing company. This is a hands-on role involving the safe and efficient production of paint products, with responsibility for operating manufacturing equipment, handling raw materials and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Monday- Thursday 7:50am-4:20pm

Friday 7:50am-1:20pm

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor paint manufacturing and processing equipment.
• Accurately weigh, measure and add raw materials according to production instructions.
• Follow batch sheets, procedures and health & safety requirements.
• Carry out quality checks and report any issues.
• Safely move raw materials and finished products around the site.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Complete production records and paperwork accurately.
• Work as part of a team to meet production targets.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a process, production or manufacturing environment.
• Counterbalance forklift licence and practical experience are essential.
• Experience within paint, chemical, coatings or similar manufacturing would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Physically fit and comfortable handling raw materials.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work effectively as part of a team.
