Early Years Teaching Assistant

To be considered for the role, you must have:

• successful, recent experience working with children;

• experience of working with children with a range of special educational needs and disabilities;

• outstanding interpersonal and communication skills;

• Hold an approved Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or Nursery Practice, recognised for inclusion in the statutory EYFS staff-to-child ratio.

• a high level of proficiency in literacy and mathematics;

• ability to use ICT effectively to support pupils’ learning; and

• a calm, supportive and caring manner.

This role will require you to work closely with the class teachers, SENCo and parents to deliver individualised support to children with learning difficulties within a mainstream class setting.
