School Caretaker

Primary School | Long Term Sickness Cover

Provide Education are recruiting for a School Caretaker to work at a Primary School in Scunthorpe on a long-term basis, covering a period of sickness.

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 11:30am – 5:30pm
Friday: 3:00pm – 9:00pm
30 hours per week

The Role

The successful candidate will support with the day-to-day running and maintenance of the school site, including:
• Opening and securing the school premises
• General maintenance and minor repairs
• Completing site and health and safety checks
• Ensuring the school buildings and grounds are safe and secure
• Setting up rooms and moving equipment when required
• Supporting contractors and deliveries on site
• Responding to general maintenance issues around the school

Requirements
Previous caretaking, maintenance, facilities or site experience would be beneficial. Previous experience within a school is desirable but not essential.

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required, or you must be willing to apply for one through Provide Education.
