Factory Operative

Holt Engineering are currently recruiting for a Factory Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business in the local area.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is practically minded and wants to develop their skills within a busy manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting the production and manufacturing process
• Using basic hand tools and equipment
• Measuring, cutting and preparing materials to specification
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
• Following production instructions and health & safety procedures
• Keeping the workspace clean, organised and safe

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience in a factory, production or workshop environment
• Be confident using basic hand tools
• Have good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Be reliable, punctual and willing to learn
• Be comfortable working as part of a team
