Warehouse Operative

Our client in Oldham is looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to work at their Processing and Distribution site

The work will involve:

• Scanning incoming goods and sorting
• Packing, Wrapping and Palletizing outgoing materials
• Using scanners and computers
• Loading & Unloading Vehicles
• Manual Lifting
• General Warehouse Duties when needed
• Housekeeping

Working times and pay:

• 08:00-16:00
• Monday to Friday
• Optional Overtime available at the weekends on occasion
• 37.5 Hours per week paid after breaks
• £12.71 p/h initially, increasing to £13.45 p/h after 12 working weeks
• Long-term role with permanent opportunities

Skills/Experience Needed:

• Previous Warehousing, Production or Recycling Experience essential
• Candidates need to be physically fit and able to do some lifting and manual work
• Scanners and Computers experience an advantage but training can be given
