The role

Depending on the school and assignment, responsibilities may include:

• Planning and delivering engaging KS2 lessons
• Teaching across the primary curriculum
• Creating an inclusive and positive classroom environment
• Differentiating learning to meet individual pupil needs
• Assessing progress and identifying gaps in learning
• Supporting pupils preparing for end-of-key-stage assessments
• Working effectively with Teaching Assistants and support staff
• Maintaining positive behaviour and classroom routines
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and school leaders
• Following school safeguarding policies and procedures

The ideal candidate

We’d particularly like to hear from teachers who:

• Hold QTS or an appropriate recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching within KS2
• Build positive relationships with pupils
• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Can adapt confidently to different school environments
• Understand differentiation and inclusive classroom practice
• Are reliable, organised and committed to pupil progress
