Salary range: L13 - L17 (£72,032 - £79,460)

Full Time Permanent

Start date: January 2027, or earlier

Ridgeway is a popular and oversubscribed school that was graded Good in all categories in 2024. The governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational teacher who has the drive and passion to make a difference to students at our school.

The successful applicant will:

be a well-qualified and experienced teacher, with a successful track record of student outcomes 

be an outstanding leader of people, with a drive to improve the life chances of young people through education

have a proven track record of improving student attendance 

understand and be respectful of the interplay between the quality of the curriculum, student attitudes to learning and attendance to school and lessons 

be ambitious for their own career, recognising this role to be a significant opportunity

be able to teach highly effectively across all abilities at key stages 3 and 4
