Process Assistant

Safran Landing Systems is a global leader in aircraft landing gear and braking systems, supporting commercial, business and military aviation. We’re growing our Surface Process Group in Gloucester and looking for hands‑on, reliable Process Assistants to help keep production running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing components for surface‑finishing processes (degreasing, masking, grit blasting).

• Moving and organising WIP into the correct processing areas.

• Loading and unloading ovens for stress‑relief and de‑embrittlement cycles, including recording work.

• Supporting operators by ensuring parts are ready for each stage of the process line.

• Helping other areas such as NDT or wider manufacturing when required.

• Maintaining high standards of safety, 5S and housekeeping across the workspace.

What they’re looking for

• Experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace experience is a bonus).

• Someone self‑managed, reliable, and comfortable with hands‑on work.

• Good communication, teamwork and attention to detail.

• A proactive approach and willingness to support different areas when needed.

• Strong commitment to safe working practices and maintaining a clean, organised environment.
