About the role

Job Introduction

Are you passionate about recruitment, and love helping people find their next opportunity?

Our successful Resourcing Team is looking for a Resourcing Advisor to join us on our mission to attract exceptional talent to Lincolnshire County Council.

We are a team of dedicated resourcing professionals, we're proud of the impact we make across the organisation. We may not be the largest team, but we're a highly supportive, collaborative and fun group who genuinely enjoy what we do. Variety is guaranteed, and we work together to overcome challenges, celebrate successes. Everyone has a voice, fresh ideas are welcomed, and your opinion will genuinely help influence the way we work and grow as a team.

Why Join Us?

This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of recruitment for one of Lincolnshire's largest employers, supporting services that make a real difference to local communities. You'll play a key role in delivering an outstanding recruitment experience for managers, candidates and stakeholders while helping shape how we attract talent across the Council.

The role offers the flexibility of hybrid working, with office attendance usually required on average once per week. Collaboration is a huge part of who we are. Alongside regular team meetings, you'll also take part in wider People Service meetings, many of which are held off-site, giving you the opportunity to build relationships and expand your network across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Resourcing Advisor, you'll support the delivery of the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial attraction through to appointment.

You'll:

  • Manage recruitment campaigns using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Partner with managers, candidates and stakeholders to provide expert recruitment advice and guidance.
  • Create engaging and compliant job adverts that attract great talent.
  • Support recruitment projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the recruitment policy and processes
  • Attend careers fairs and attraction events, promoting Lincolnshire County Council as a good employer.
  • Help deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience at every stage of the recruitment journey.
  • Use recruitment data, feedback and insight to identify opportunities for improvement.

About You

We're looking for someone who knows recruitment and understands what great candidate experience looks like. Experience in agency recruitment, in-house resourcing, customer service, talent acquisition, account management or business development background would be advantageous.

You'll be someone who:

  • Has experience of managing the end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Understands employment legislation relating to recruitment
  • Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
  • Is resilient, adaptable and can manage competing priorities and remain calm under pressure
  • Is highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused.
  • Builds positive relationships quickly and communicates confidently with a wide range of people.
  • Has strong IT skills and experience of working with recruitment systems and Microsoft Office.

What It's Really Like to Work Here

Let's be honest, recruitment can be demanding.

There will be times when you're balancing multiple campaigns, responding to urgent requests, troubleshooting recruitment challenges and supporting managers through complex situations. That's why resilience, flexibility and a positive attitude are so important. Equally, being a strong team player is essential, as we rely on one another's support, collaboration and shared expertise to deliver the best outcomes, particularly during busy periods and when priorities shift unexpectedly.

You'll have opportunities to develop your expertise, lead improvement initiatives and broaden your knowledge of recruitment across a large and diverse organisation.

We share knowledge, celebrate achievements, have a laugh along the way and are united by our passion for delivering an outstanding service. You'll be encouraged to contribute ideas, get involved in projects and develop your own skills and career.

Join Us

So, if you're someone who enjoys meeting new people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, isn't afraid to get stuck in, and wants to be part of a supportive and ambitious team, we'd love to hear from you.

Bring your recruitment expertise, energy and enthusiasm, and help us attract the talent that keeps Lincolnshire County Council delivering for communities across the county.
