The Opportunity

We are looking for a Data Centre Proposition leader to shape the customer proposition and future direction of QBE’s Data Centres business.  

This is a new role for QBE, designed to bring external market insight, customer relationships and sector credibility. The role will help define where QBE can create long-term value, what customer needs are currently underserved, and what capabilities or partnerships may be required to build a differentiated market position.

Your New Role

• Build trusted relationships with Data Centre operators, developers, investors and service providers to deepen QBE’s market insight and credibility. 
• Act as a strong connection to customers, ensuring proposition decisions reflect customer needs, market demand and the future direction of the sector. 
• Turn external insight into useful intelligence for underwriters and other internal stakeholders. 
• Help define the future Data Centres proposition, including capability gaps, new services, products, advisory support and partnership opportunities. 
• Create growth opportunities through direct industry engagement and support strategic broker, client and partner discussions. 
• Identify strategic partners that can strengthen the proposition and support broader risk, resilience and lifecycle solutions. 
• Connect market insight, customer needs, ecosystem development and proposition innovation to support QBE’s long-term differentiation. 

About You

• Deep Data Centre industry experience and a strong network across operators, developers, investors and service providers. 

• Credibility engaging senior executives and the ability to shape propositions around emerging customer needs. 

• Experience assessing market opportunities and building strategic partnerships. 

• Experience bringing new propositions to market, or working across risk management, resilience, technology, infrastructure or insurance solutions, would be helpful but is not essential.
