Job Title: Security Systems Design Engineer (Revit)
Location: Fully Remote
Length: 2 months (start date 5 October 2026)
Rate: £380 per day (Outside IR35)

Are you a Security Systems Design Engineer based in the UK looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Security Systems Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing technical designs for CCTV, intrusion detection and access control systems using Revit, taking those designs through to final stage ready for construction drawings to be issued, and working across data centre projects with clients and wider project teams. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality security systems design solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Produce detailed technical designs for CCTV, intrusion detection and access control systems, creating your own drawings in Revit.
* Develop designs through final stage ahead of construction drawing issue, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout.
* Liaise directly with clients, including taking project briefs and presenting design solutions.
* Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to maintain design consistency across all disciplines.
* Ensure all designs meet client requirements and relevant technical standards.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Proven background in security systems design covering CCTV, intrusion detection and access control systems.
* Strong working knowledge of Revit, with the ability to produce your own design drawings independently.
* Experience delivering technical design work through to final stage on commercial or critical infrastructure projects.
* Experience on data centre projects (desirable).
* Consultancy background (desirable).
