Role Overview

We are seeking reliable and professional HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers for long-term work based in Avonmouth. This role offers consistent full-time shift patterns across 5 days out of 7, with competitive base rates and enhanced pay rates available.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform safe and timely deliveries of goods across regional and national routes.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects immediately.
• Ensure all load security regulations and safety compliance standards are met.
• Accurately complete digital tachograph logs and delivery documentation.
• Provide excelente customer service when delivering to hubs, depots, or customer sites.
• Adhere strictly to EU Drivers’ Hours, Working Time Directive (WTD), and road safety regulations.

Candidate Requirements

• Licence: Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence (minimum 6 months to 1 year experience preferred).
• Cards: Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Endorsements: Maximum of 6 penalty points on licence (no DD, DR, CD, or IN endorsements for insurance purposes).
• Skills: Strong understanding of driver hours and tacho regulations, good spatial awareness, and strong communication skills.
• Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and capable of working as part of a busy operational team.
