Job Title – Reactive Repairs Co-ordinator

Salary – £29,725 per annum

Hours – Full time 8am-5pm Monday to Friday – Permanent position

Location – Grantham office based

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, assess and process client work orders accurately and efficiently.
• Liaise with clients and residents to clarify repair requirements and arrange appointments.
• Enter and maintain job information using Impact and standard IT systems.
• Schedule and allocate work to engineers and subcontractors.
• Monitor repairs from initial order through to completion and job closure.
• Prioritise workloads to meet deadlines, performance targets and service standards.
• Escalate issues that cannot be resolved within your level of responsibility.
• Work closely with colleagues, contractors and other departments to ensure successful outcomes.
• Provide cover and support for other Repairs Administrators and Customer Response Centre colleagues.
• Handle telephone calls, written correspondence and general administrative duties professionally.
• Participate in the Emergency Out-of-Hours Duty Coordinator rota.
• Undertake other reasonable duties appropriate to the role.

Essential Requirements

• GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Mathematics.
• Experience dealing with customers face-to-face and over the telephone.
• Experience using standard computer software and carrying out office administration.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good organisation, accuracy and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible, adaptable and willing to learn.

Desirable

• Customer service/care qualification or training.
• A-levels or higher qualification.
• Previous experience in a dedicated customer service role.
• Experience or knowledge of property maintenance, repairs or a technical environment.
