Job Title: 1:1 SEN Support / LSA - Secondary & College

Location: Benfleet, Essex

Pay Rate: £95.00 - £100.00 per day

Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

Are you an empathetic support worker looking for a rewarding school-based role?

Randstad Education is seeking an intuitive and structured SEN Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support for students across secondary schools and sixth-form settings in Benfleet.

The Role:

You will be paired with specific students who hold EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans). Your job is to help them navigate the curriculum, access vocational options, build social skills, and reach their full potential.

Key Duties:

• Deliver bespoke 1:1 learning strategies tailored to ASC, ADHD, or physical mobility needs.

• Help students prepare for GCSEs, BTECs, or functional skills qualifications.

• Promote self-reliance and independence in preparation for adulthood.

Ideal Candidate:

• Prior SEN experience (Secondary/Colleges preferred, but transferable care/mentoring experience welcomed).

• Calming presence with strong de-escalation skills.

• Maths & English at GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent.
