We are currently recruiting for a dynamic, proactive, and enthusiastic Driver & Valeter to join a well-established team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are cleaned, prepared, and maintained to a high standard, as well as safely transporting them to and from designated locations. You will play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the business while ensuring customers receive a professional, efficient, and reliable service.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean the interior and exterior of vehicles, including vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and waxing as required.
• Inspect vehicles for any damages or faults, promptly reporting them to the relevant personnel.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicle cleaning, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Provide a professional and friendly level of customer service when interacting with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Safely drive and transport vehicles to and from designated locations, adhering to all relevant road and company regulations.
• Follow scheduled collection and delivery times to ensure vehicles are moved efficiently and on time.
• Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including checking and replenishing fluids, replacing bulbs, and carrying out minor repairs where required.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

Essentials

• Hold a valid, clean, and full UK driving licence.
• Previous experience in vehicle cleaning, valeting, or a similar role.
• Confidently drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible and willing to work weekends and public holidays when required.
