An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Wills, Trusts & Probate Lawyer to join a growing and highly regarded Private Client team in Coventry.

This role is ideally suited to a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or experienced Private Client Lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' PQE (or equivalent experience) who is looking to take ownership of a high-quality caseload while building strong, long-lasting client relationships.

The Role

You will advise a broad range of clients on all aspects of private client law, providing practical and empathetic advice tailored to individual circumstances.

Your caseload will include:

✅ Drafting Wills and Codicils
✅ Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
✅ Estate Administration and Probate Matters
✅ Trust Creation and Administration
✅ Inheritance Tax and Estate Planning
✅ Court of Protection Matters
✅ Deputyship Applications
✅ Lifetime Tax Planning and Wealth Protection

You will manage files from instruction through to conclusion, ensuring clients receive the highest standard of legal advice and client care throughout.

About You

✔ Minimum 5 years' PQE or equivalent Private Client experience
✔ Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, trusts and tax planning matters
✔ Ability to independently manage a varied and busy caseload
✔ Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
✔ A compassionate and client-focused approach
✔ Commercial awareness and strong attention to detail
✔ Business development skills and a willingness to contribute to the growth of the department
