ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT – Tameside

One of our long standing Tameside clients are looking to recruit an Experienced Accounts Assistant to join their friendly busy team. The role is is full time Monday to Friday on an initial 3 months contract until Christmas. In this vital role, you will support the day-to-day financial operations by managing all accounts processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with data entry tasks.

Some duties: 

Processing invoices (purchase and sales)
Reconciling bank statements and accounts
Managing accounts payable and receivable
Chasing overdue payments / credit control
Maintaining the general ledger
Preparing basic financial reports (statements, summaries)
Supporting month-end closing
Liaising with suppliers, and clients
Data entry into accounting software
Answering finance-related queries from staff or customers

Other details you need to know:

• Modern offices. Kitchen area. Free on-site parking.
• Hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
• Immediate start
