Syme Drummond is supporting a well-known global drinks organisation with the appointment of an experienced HR Adviser for a nine-month maternity cover contract.

This is a broad, hands-on and fairly standalone role supporting an operational site of approximately 85 employees. Working closely with the Site Leader and leadership team, you’ll provide practical HR advice across the full employee lifecycle while contributing to wider people initiatives and the ongoing development of a positive, high-performing culture.

The Opportunity

You’ll advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and employee matters, supporting absence management and employee relations activity. You’ll also manage recruitment and selection from requisition through to offer, coordinate local learning and development activity, and contribute to performance management, talent reviews and employee engagement.

The role will also involve monitoring HR data, identifying where intervention may be required and supporting the local implementation of wider HR projects and initiatives.

About You

• You’ll have solid experience operating at HR Adviser, HR Generalist or a similar level, with the confidence to work independently as the main HR presence on site.
• Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, retail or another operational environment would be particularly relevant, alongside strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.

The role may be considered on either a full-time or four-day-per-week basis. A strong on-site presence will be required, currently expected to be four days per week. Further details to follow.
