Scheduling and Repairs Coordinator
Newcastle-under-Lyme | Permanent | £28,500 – £30,000 DOE
40 hours per week | 1 Saturday per month, 9am–2pm with TOIL

Forrest Recruitment Ltd are working with a successful and growing business in Newcastle-under-Lyme who are looking for an experienced Scheduling and Repairs Coordinator to join their friendly and supportive team.
If you’re currently working in service coordination, repairs scheduling, engineer planning, field service administration or a similar role, this could be an excellent opportunity to bring your experience into a busy and varied position.
The Role
Working as part of a busy team, your day will involve:
Managing and coordinating engineers’ diaries, ensuring appointments and workloads are scheduled efficiently
Allocating jobs to engineers based on availability, location, skills and urgency
Booking and rearranging customer appointments, ensuring diaries remain productive and achievable
Prioritising reactive and time-sensitive work to ensure customers receive an efficient service
Liaising closely with engineers throughout the day to keep them updated with changes to their schedules
Handling inbound customer calls and enquiries in a professional and helpful manner
Keeping customers informed regarding appointment times, engineer attendance and any changes
Updating internal systems accurately with job and customer information
Monitoring outstanding jobs and following up where required
Working closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the overall service operation
About You
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, confident and naturally enjoys coordinating people and workloads.
You will also have:
Experience managing engineers’, technicians’ or field-based employees’ diaries
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Confidence handling a high volume of telephone calls and customer enquiries
Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner
Excellent attention to detail and accurate administration skills
A proactive approach and the ability to work well under pressure
A genuine commitment to providing excellent customer service
