Year 4 SEND Teaching Assistant

Role: SEND Teaching Assistant – Year 4

A welcoming primary school in the DN4 area of Doncaster is looking for a calm, nurturing and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, ongoing basis.

The successful candidate will be supporting a Year 4 pupil with SEND, helping them to access learning, develop confidence and engage positively with school life.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience supporting children with SEND, ideally within a primary school setting
• Be calm, patient and nurturing in their approach
• Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
• Be able to provide consistent, one-to-one support where required
• Have good communication skills and work effectively as part of a wider school team
• Be reliable, proactive and committed to supporting the pupil’s educational and emotional development

The role:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Year 4 SEND support
• Immediate start available
• Ongoing position
• Based in DN4, Doncaster
