The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Consultant Neurologist to support services within South East England, based in the Integrated Community, Older People, Rehabilitation and Specialist Services Directorate (ICORS).

This locum opportunity runs ASAP for the next 3 months, offering a structured part-time schedule with a mixture of full and half-day clinics. The role provides an excellent opportunity to work alongside established multidisciplinary teams, supporting the delivery of specialist neurology services within a community and rehabilitation setting.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality neurological assessment, diagnosis and management for patients within community and specialist services.
• Support outpatient clinics and multidisciplinary care pathways.
• Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses, therapists, and the wider healthcare team.
• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation.
• Contribute to safe, effective, and patient-centred care.
• Identify and escalate clinical concerns appropriately.
• Support service delivery and continuity of care across the department.

What We're Looking For

• Active GMC registration.
• Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for Neurology.
• Relevant recent NHS experience at Consultant level.
• Strong clinical judgement, communication, and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship).
