Associate Teacher

Oakfield Primary Academy is looking to appoint enthusiastic and committed Associate Teachers with relevant SEN experience to join our talented and supportive team!

Both part-time and full-time opportunities may be available for this role. Please indicate your preferred working hours on your application.

Based on working 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.30pm, 38 weeks per year, term time only. The full-time salary is paid at Kent Scheme A, £26,168 (September 2026 pay), pro-rata to an actual salary of £19,610.33.

We are looking for someone who is: 

1. able to contribute to, and work as part of a team 
2. ideally has experience working with children with learning difficulties or delivering interventions
3. passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential 
4. hold a TA qualification with GCSEs in English & Maths A-C or equivalent
5. committed to high expectations of children's learning and behaviour 
6. excellent communication and personal skills and a flexible attitude.
