Class Teacher (Y5 0.6FTE)

The working hours for this role are expected to be 0.6 FTE. The start date for this role is 02 November 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed teacher to inspire and support our team at Paxcroft Primary School. You will be teaching a vibrant Year 5 class, delivering engaging and creative learning experiences that enable every child to thrive. The successful candidate will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, foster a stimulating classroom environment, and set high expectations that encourage pupils to achieve their full potential. You will build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues, promoting inclusion, independence, confidence and a love of learning. Working collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team, you will help ensure outstanding outcomes for all pupils, including those with SEND. The role offers the chance to contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities, curriculum development and school improvement initiatives. We are looking for an enthusiastic and reflective practitioner with strong curriculum knowledge, excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.
