We’re working with a leading M&E contractor based in Chelmsford who are looking to add an Intermediate Electrical Estimator to their growing pre-construction team.

With an impressive portfolio of projects and strong relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, as well as well-known end clients, this is an opportunity to join an established business delivering some genuinely interesting electrical projects across the commercial sector.
The Opportunity

As an Intermediate Electrical Estimator, you’ll be involved in pricing a wide range of electrical packages across technically challenging and high-profile projects.

The business delivers electrical packages across sectors including:

• Theatres and entertainment venues
• Schools and education facilities
• Hospitals and healthcare
• MOD and government projects
• Corporate offices
• High-spec commercial developments

You’ll work closely with the pre-construction, commercial and delivery teams, gaining exposure to a broad range of projects while developing your estimating and commercial expertise.
About You

We’re looking for an Intermediate Electrical Estimator with a solid understanding of electrical building services and a desire to continue developing within the industry.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience working as an Electrical Estimator within the M&E/building services sector
• A good understanding of electrical building services and installations
• Experience pricing electrical packages from drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• The ability to produce accurate and competitive estimates
• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
• Good communication and organisational skills
• A genuine interest in progressing your career within a respected M&E contractor

Skills Required

Previous experience working as an Electrical Estimator within the M&E/building services sector
A good understanding of electrical building services and installations
Experience pricing electrical packages from drawings, specifications and tender documentation
The ability to produce accurate and competitive estimates
Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness

Qualifications Required

Previous experience within the Building Services industry.

Rate of Pay

£45,000.00 – £50,000.00 per year
