About the Role

We are excited to seek a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Orchard site, working across a range of class groups and diverse student needs. This is a dynamic, rewarding role where no two days are the same. As a Class Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in enabling students to access learning, working in close partnership with subject specialist teachers. You will be linked to a subject area to support and facilitate learning alongside expert teaching colleagues as you collaborate in a personalised, student-centred approach.

ACE Tiverton is a thriving special school for students aged 11 to 16. Since opening in September 2019 with just 35 students, we have grown to serve more than 120 young people from across Devon. As part of Reach South Academy Trust, we support students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), primarily relating to Communication and Interaction needs, alongside sensory, medical, emotional and mental health needs. Our students are extraordinary young people with unique strengths, interests and aspirations. We are ambitious for every one of them, believing that with the right support, meaningful relationships and high expectations they can flourish both academically and personally.

About the Trust

Reach South is a young and developing Trust which operates across the South West of England with the aim of delivering all through 3-19 education.
