HR Advisor

Salary: £37,000 per annum

Location: Stonebridge, London

I am currently partnering with a large, multi-site UK organisation to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to join their established People team.
Reporting into a Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in delivering a proactive, hands-on HR advisory service to your designated client group. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking business where you can grow!

The Opportunity:

This is a broad, operational HR role where you will act as a trusted advisor to managers, supporting them across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll work closely with the wider HR team and Business Partners to ensure consistent, commercially sound people practices across your business area.
The role offers excellent exposure, stakeholder engagement at all levels, and the opportunity to contribute to change and people initiatives across a large, complex organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing a comprehensive generalist HR advisory service to your allocated client group

• Acting as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, offering practical and risk-aware advice

• Supporting managers with absence management, disciplinaries, grievances and performance issues

• Ensuring policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation

• Supporting the delivery of People Plan activities and change initiatives

• Partnering with stakeholders to understand business objectives and align people solutions accordingly

• Supporting recruitment activity within your business area

• Assisting with the implementation of HR initiatives and continuous improvement projects

• Promoting and embedding a positive, values-led culture across the colleague lifecycle

About You

My client is looking for a confident and commercially aware HR professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment.
You will bring:

• CIPD qualification (or equivalent working experience)

• Proven experience in a generalist HR role with strong exposure to employee relations

• Solid knowledge of UK employment law and best practice

• Experience working in a fast-paced, operational or multi-site environment (highly desirable)

• The ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior management

• Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

• A professional, personable approach with the ability to “hit the ground running”
