Learning Support Assistant – Bournville Primary School, Weston‑super‑Mare

Contract: Term‑time only, 22 hours per week and offered on a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027

Salary: £13,741.61 - £15,116.45

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and compassionate individual to provide 1:1 SEND support and small‑group interventions across all year groups at Bournville Primary School.

Key responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)

Work with small groups to boost learning and confidence

Support children across different year groups

Assist pupils with personal care, when required

Build positive, nurturing relationships with children and families

Are you:

Proactive, enthusiastic, and full of energy?

Able to empower children, helping them grow in confidence and independence?

Calm, patient, and caring, especially when children are upset or overwhelmed?
