Senior M&E Engineer

Our client is developing innovative climate technology in West Sussex nd is seeking a Senior M&E Engineer to help advance its engineering projects. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development, integration and improvement of mechanical and electrical systems within a forward-thinking technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and integration of mechanical and electrical engineering systems.
• Support the delivery of climate technology projects from concept through to implementation.
• Develop and review technical specifications, drawings and engineering documentation.
• Identify suitable engineering solutions, resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and project stakeholders.
• Ensure designs meet relevant safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to testing, commissioning and continuous improvement activities.

Job Requirements

• Significant experience in mechanical and electrical engineering, ideally within a technology, energy or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of M&E system design, integration and practical implementation.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings, specifications and engineering documentation.
• Ability to analyse complex technical challenges and develop effective solutions.
• Strong project coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safe, high-quality and environmentally focused engineering practices.
