External Scheduler

The External Scheduler plays a key role in ensuring materials and components flow smoothly from external suppliers into the clients manufacturing operations. The role focuses on MRP management, supplier communication, schedule agreement creation, and performance tracking, ensuring supply aligns with production needs and contractual commitments.

You will analyse MRP outputs, manage exceptions, negotiate delivery timelines, and maintain visibility of supplier performance. The role also involves regular supplier site visits, monitoring capacity, resolving delivery issues, and supporting short‑term recovery plans. Strong analytical skills, clear communication, and the ability to apply pressure when needed are essential.

• Background in logistics, stock control, or materials coordination 

• Experience with ERP systems 

• Comfortable raising, amending, and managing purchase orders

• Strong attention to detail & analytical capability
