Implementation Specialist - NHS Digital Health

Work Model: Hybrid (2-3 days/week in Maidenhead for ~2 months, then Remote)

Role Type: Contract 12 Months(2 Openings)

We are recruiting two Implementation Specialists to drive the rollout of cutting-edge wearable glucose-monitoring technology across 6,000 UK GP practices. This hands-on role bridges software integration and primary care training, ensuring smooth adoption across NHS healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Onboard GP practices and guide clinical staff through software set-up and system integration.

• Configure client software to ensure live patient data streams accurately into primary care record management systems.

• Deliver user-friendly, non-technical training and floor-walking support to GPs, practice nurses, and administrative staff.

• Troubleshoot initial integration issues and maintain progress tracking to hit project timelines.

Requirements

• Proven background in NHS/primary care environments, clinical floor-walking, or healthcare software training.

• Hands-on familiarity with major UK GP clinical systems (e.g., EMIS Web, SystmOne/TPP).

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical workflows to non-technical staff.

• Full commitment to commute to Maidenhead 2-3 days/week during the initial 2-month training period.
