This well established and highly successful company is looking for someone with experience in a finance based role to join them as a Loan Analyst. Your role as a Loans Analyst: Working as part of a team you will carry out the day to day administration of commercial property loans, ensuring accurate calculations and completeness of records a to generate Borrower/Lender communications. Duties will include: Managing the day-to-day administration of commercial and corporate property loans Adding new loans onto the loan management system and updating on an on ongoing basis Calculating loan interest and preparing statements for clients and lenders, using Excel to manage more complex loan calculations Preparing and processing payments, including online and manual payments Monitoring company bank accounts and keeping payment and reconciliation records up to date General loan operations duties including preparation of some overseas billing notices / remittance reports and rate setting Calculating Agency Fees, requisition of fee invoices from the Finance Dept and issuing invoices to Borrowers Liaising with Loan Managers, lenders, clients and relevant third parties with regards to loan accrual queries / administration Setting and maintaining interest rates and keeping loan records accurate Preparing billing notices, remittance reports and regular client reports Keeping track of important payment dates, fees and other loan deadlines Maintaining portfolio databases, spreadsheets and distribution lists Helping with audits and providing the information required We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience: Previous experience in a similar financial role such as general accounts, purchase ledger or other financial based roles in fields such as loans, mortgages, commercial banking, pensions, insurance underwriting or some other form of numerical analytical role Experience in commercial loans or working as a Loan Analyst or an Analyst role within the commercial banking sector would be very interesting as would experience within commercial property Confident using Excel with either advanced skills or the ability to develop their skills further An extremely high level of accuracy is a must Excellent numeracy skills Analytical with a strong eye for detail Due to the location of the offices, your own transport is definitely preferable Whats in it for you as a Loan Analyst: A salary of £27,000 to £29,000 depending on experience 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (with the scope to buy up to an extra 5 days) Discretionary bonus scheme after probationary period Private healthcare after probationary period Pension scheme Free parking EAP - Employee Assistance Programme Referral reward scheme Access to Lifestyle and Health Coach Sports and Social activities Company events Regular staff rewards including free lunches on the last Friday of the month Policy of promoting from within To Apply If this sounds like a Loan Analyst role you will LOVE, please send your CV today Apply now by sending your CV.
