*Responsibilities*

* Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
* Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
* Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling efficiently using IT systems.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
* Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas to uphold high standards of hygiene.
* Support the dental team with administrative tasks as needed, including managing stock levels of dental supplies.
* Continuously update knowledge of dental practices and procedures to provide informed support to both patients and colleagues.

*Requirements*

* Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma, or experience within a dental practice.
* Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding.
* Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
* Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and colleagues alike.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems; familiarity with dental software is advantageous.
