  • Proven experience carrying out general property maintenance.
  • Strong practical problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
  • Good communication skills and a professional manner.
  • Full UK driving licence. Own transport preferred due to location.
  • Flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities.

Desirable

  • Experience working within hospitality, hotels, estates, or luxury residential properties.
  • Trade qualifications (City & Guilds, SVQ/NVQ, apprenticeship, or equivalent).
  • Health & Safety qualifications.
  • PAT testing, basic electrical certification, or similar maintenance-related qualifications.

Working Pattern

  • Four-day working week.
  • Typically 40 hours per week, worked across four days.
  • Participation in an on-call rota for emergency maintenance requirements.
  • Occasional weekend and evening work required to support operational needs, events, and urgent maintenance issues.
  • Flexibility during peak hospitality seasons is essential.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will be a dependable, self-motivated tradesperson who enjoys variety in their work and takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards. You will understand the importance of guest experience in a luxury hospitality environment and play a key role in ensuring our facilities remain safe, functional, and impeccably presented.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary.
  • Four-day working week.
  • Beautiful working environment in the North of Scotland.
  • Company pension scheme.
