About the role
Senior Designer – Glazing & Curtain Walling
Salary: £50,000-£60,000
Location: Erith / Hybrid
Working Pattern: Up to 3 days from home
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Designer to join their team, working across a range of specialist glazing and curtain walling projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a designer with strong technical experience within the glazing and façade sector, offering a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing detailed designs and technical drawings for glazing and curtain walling systems
- Developing designs from initial concepts through to construction
- Reviewing architectural and technical information
- Working closely with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders
- Ensuring designs meet project, technical and regulatory requirements
- Providing technical support throughout project delivery
- Attending site when required to support design and installation
Requirements
- Glazing and curtain walling experience is essential
- Previous experience as a Senior Designer or experienced Façade Designer
- Strong understanding of curtain walling systems and façade detailing
- Proficient in relevant CAD/design software
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and organisational skills
Package:
- £50,000-£60,000 salary
- Up to 3 days working from home
