We are recruiting a Brazing Operative to join an established manufacturing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with brazing or metal joining experience. Welding experience would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right candidate.

• 5% premium for early shifts and 25% for rotating shifts.

Early Shift: Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm.

Rotating Shift: Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm, rotating to Monday to Thursday, 2pm-midnight.

• Prepare, clean, fit and align components for brazing.

• Operate brazing equipment, torches and hand tools safely.

• Select appropriate filler metals, fluxes and heating techniques.

• Inspect finished joints to ensure quality standards are met.

• Read and follow technical drawings, work instructions and specifications.

• Carry out basic rework and finishing processes, including blasting and polishing.

• Maintain a clean and safe working area.

• Report defects or equipment issues and support continuous improvement.

• Work with production, quality, maintenance and engineering teams to meet production targets.

• Previous brazing or metal joining experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

• Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions.

• Experience using hand tools, torches and production equipment.

• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

• Welding experience or willingness to learn is desirable.
