Site Supervisor (Part Time)

About the Role

As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, safety, and presentation of the school premises, ensuring that both buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard.

52 weeks per year and a choice of either 15 or 20 hours per week on a shift pattern during term time.

7:00am - 10am and 4:00pm - 7pm (3 hours per day = 15 hours per week) £10,547 - £10,714 actual salary

or 7am - 11am and 3:00pm - 7:00pm (4 hours per day = 20 hours per week) £14,062 - £14,285 actual salary

School holiday hours organised in negotiation with line manager

Times may change subject to business need, including occasional weekend hours, all of which will be discussed and agreed with as much notice as possible.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain clean, safe, and secure school premises, including buildings and outdoor areas

Carry out cleaning duties, handyperson tasks, routine maintenance, refurbishment, porterage, and minor repairs

Supervise cleaning staff, including allocating duties and monitoring quality of work

Promote and uphold health and safety standards across the school

A proactive, solutions-focused individual with strong practical and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

A commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-presented environment
