Are you a hands-on manager who enjoys getting the best out of people, understands the numbers and isn’t afraid to get stuck in when things get busy?

You might already be a Recruitment Manager, Operations Manager, Logistics Manager, Contact Centre Manager or an experienced Team Leader who’s ready for more responsibility.

You don’t necessarily need recruitment experience. We’re much more interested in finding the right person.

Frontline Recruitment has been in Chesterfield for six years, recruiting for clients across the UK. We have an established team, loyal clients and a strong operation already in place.

Now we’re looking for someone to lead it.

And when we say lead, we mean lead from the front.

What will you be doing?

First and foremost, this is a people role.

You’ll be working alongside the team every day, keeping everyone focused, helping them develop and making sure we’re delivering a great service to our clients.

At the same time, you’ll have a close eye on the commercials. You’ll understand how the branch is performing, from margins and productivity to KPIs and overall results. More importantly, when something isn’t where it should be, you’ll take action.

Our existing clients are a big part of our business, so looking after those relationships really matters. You’ll make sure we’re delivering what we’ve promised, while also spotting opportunities to grow accounts and do more with the clients we already work with.

No two days in recruitment are quite the same, and that’s where being hands-on matters.

If a client has a problem, you’ll help sort it. If someone in the team needs support, you’ll be there. And if there’s an opportunity worth chasing, you’ll be happy to pick up the phone yourself.

We don’t want someone who manages from behind a closed door. We want someone who’s part of the team, rolls their sleeves up and sets the standard through what they do.

Do you need recruitment experience? Not necessarily.

Of course, we’d love to hear from you if you’ve worked in Industrial, Logistics, Warehousing, Driving or high-volume temporary recruitment.

However, we’re just as interested in people who have managed teams in busy, target-driven environments such as logistics, warehousing, transport, manufacturing, operations or contact centres.

Perhaps you’re already managing a team but feel you’ve reached the ceiling where you are. Or maybe you’re a Team Leader who’s ready to take that next step and have more responsibility for people, clients and commercial performance.

For us, your current job title isn’t the most important thing.

Can you lead people, make decisions and deliver results?

That’s what matters.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable being visible and involved.

You’ll enjoy coaching people and helping them improve, but you’ll also be comfortable setting expectations and having straightforward conversations when standards aren’t being met.

You’ll understand targets, KPIs, margins and profitability. However, you won’t just look at a spreadsheet and report the numbers – you’ll use them to decide what needs to happen next.

You’ll build relationships with clients, understand what they need and look for opportunities to grow the business naturally.

Most importantly, you’ll take ownership.

Things move quickly in our world, so we need someone who can make decisions, solve problems and keep the team moving in the right direction.

If you’ve worked in industrial, logistics, warehousing, transport, manufacturing, recruitment or another fast-paced operational environment, we’d particularly like to hear from you.

What this role isn’t

This isn’t an ivory-tower management job.

You won’t spend your days sitting behind a closed door managing people through spreadsheets.

Equally, we’re not asking you to walk into an empty office and build a recruitment branch from scratch.

You’ll be taking responsibility for an established Chesterfield operation that’s been running for six years and recruits nationally.

We’ve already built something we’re proud of. Your job is to look after it, get the best from the people within it and help us make it even better.
