Your key responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating Class 1 shunting vehicles to move trailers around the yard efficiently
• Managing bay assignments to ensure optimal trailer placement supporting smooth distribution flow
• Conducting thorough safety checks and daily inspections of shunting vehicles before use
• Communicating clearly with yard teams and drivers to coordinate trailer movements and minimise delays
• Maintaining accurate records of trailer locations and movements within the yard
• Adhering to all site safety policies and contributing to a safe working environment at all times

What we’re looking for:

• Valid Class 1 Shunter Driver licence with proven experience in trailer movement and yard management
• Excellent understanding of yard safety procedures and compliance
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Good communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work reliably on the 18:00 – 06:00 shift
