Role Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist with strong knowledge of IT hardware and the UAE distribution market. The person will support our sales and project teams throughout the procurement process—from receiving an RFQ and sourcing suitable products to supplier comparison, purchasing, and delivery tracking. Strong hardware knowledge is essential. The candidate should be comfortable sourcing and comparing laptops, desktops, servers, storage, networking equipment, firewalls, surveillance systems, UPS systems, communication devices, and related products. Key Responsibilities ● Receive RFQs and procurement requests from the sales and technical teams. ● Source IT hardware, software licences, subscriptions, services, and renewals. ● Obtain and compare quotations from UAE distributors, vendors, and suppliers. ● Confirm that proposed products meet the requested technical and commercial requirements. ● Suggest suitable alternatives when requested products are unavailable or discontinued. ● Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranty conditions, availability, and delivery schedules. ● Manage deal registrations, project pricing requests, discounts, and quotation validity. ● Prepare supplier comparison and project-costing sheets. ● Support the sales team with accurate and timely purchasing information. ● Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records in Odoo. ● Track orders, deliveries, licences, warranties, and outstanding supplier actions. ● Coordinate shipments and calculate freight, customs, VAT, and landed costs when required. ● Maintain supplier records and purchasing price history. ● Coordinate with finance regarding supplier invoices, payments, credit notes, and discrepancies. ● Report stock shortages, price changes, delivery delays, and other procurement risks. ● Build and maintain good relationships with UAE distributors and suppliers. ● 2–4 years of experience in IT procurement, preferably within the UAE. ● Strong practical knowledge of IT hardware across computers, infrastructure, networking, security, surveillance, power, and communication solutions. ● Ability to compare products, verify configurations and part numbers, and identify suitable alternatives. ● Good knowledge of UAE IT distributors, suppliers, stock availability, and procurement channels. ● Previous experience with an IT reseller, system integrator, technology distributor, or managed service provider. ● Familiarity with brands such as HP, HPE, Dell, Lenovo, Cisco, Fortinet, Synology, APC, Hikvision, Axis, Grandstream, Microsoft, Kaspersky, ESET, Sophos, Veeam, or similar vendors. ● Good understanding of software licensing, subscriptions, warranties, and renewals. ● Strong negotiation, organization, communication, and follow-up skills. ● High attention to detail when handling models, quantities, prices, currencies, and delivery terms. ● Good Excel or spreadsheet skills. ● Experience using Odoo or another ERP system is preferred. ● Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage. ● Must be based in the UAE. Preferred Qualifications ● Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Information Technology, or a related field. ● Experience with vendor portals, deal registration, special pricing, and project discounts. ● Familiarity with UAE VAT, imports, freight, customs, and landed-cost calculations.
