We are seeking a compassionate, resilient and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with additional and complex needs, helping them access learning and thrive within a supportive and inclusive setting.

Kingfisher Primary Academy is a thriving two-form entry school with a 52-place nursery, located in the heart of Doncaster. • Provide tailored 1:1 support to pupils, ensuring they can access learning and fully participate in school life
• Support the delivery of a therapeutic, broad and balanced curriculum adapted to meet individual needs
• Work closely with teachers and senior leaders to adapt learning in line with SEND requirements
• Promote pupils’ independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing
• Support pupils’ health, welfare and personal care needs where required
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues to support consistent progress

• Shares a strong belief that every child can succeed
• Passionate about inclusive education and early intervention
• Experience supporting children with additional or complex needs (desirable)
• Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with children and adults
• Patient, proactive and adaptable to meet the needs of individual pupils
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
