Temp Chef Schools – SB2497

Schools within the Plymouth area are seeking Temporary Chefs.

Flexible chefs who are able to work in a variety of properties sometimes at short notice. You may be working from Chef de Partie to Head Chef level, depending on your skills and the requirement of the property you will be working at.

Our College and school contracts require Temp Chefs to have an ENHANCED DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) with advanced checks preferably on the update service in order to work in their kitchens. There is plenty of year round work available with these.

You will be cooking in the region of 250 meals daily, working with a team of 2 to 3 assistants.

Hours are 08:00 to 14:00 Monday to Friday

Requirements:

Chefs who have worked to at least Sous Chef level with excellent all round cooking skills capable of jumping on any section and used to working in fast paced kitchens with all fresh produce. All chefs must have Enhanced DBS, a current Food Safety Certificate, Allergen & Intolerance Certificate and experienced in modified diets. You must have good customer care skills to be able to communicate well with the children and staff.
