Job Title: Warden / Nurse Call Engineer
Location: Glasgow
Rate: £240 per day
Are you a Warden / Nurse Call Engineer based in Glasgow looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Warden / Nurse Call Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and remedial works of warden call and nurse call systems across a range of care home environments, ensuring systems are compliant, fully operational, and fit for purpose. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality life safety and assistive technology solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on warden call and nurse call systems across multiple care home sites.
* Diagnose and resolve faults on warden call and nurse call systems, completing remedial works to a high standard.
* Test and inspect systems to ensure full functionality and compliance with relevant standards.
* Maintain accurate service records, job sheets, and site documentation following each visit.
* Liaise professionally with site managers and care home staff to minimise disruption during works.
* Escalate complex technical issues and source replacement parts or equipment as required.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Proven experience servicing and maintaining warden call and/or nurse call systems.
* Hands-on knowledge of leading warden and nurse call systems such as Tunstall, Tynetec, Intercall, or similar.
* Experience working within care home, healthcare, or residential environments.
* Full UK driving licence, as the role involves travel between sites.
* ECS Card (desirable).
* FIA Certificate in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems or equivalent life safety qualification (desirable).
