Overview
Harvey Nash are recruiting for a number of experienced Project Managers to support delivery within a major public sector programme in Scotland. These are short-term contract opportunities, with an initial duration of 12 weeks, starting ASAP through July-August 2026. Potential extensions may be required depending on programme demand.
This role has been released via the Temporary and Interim Staff Framework (IT/Professional) and will be run as a mini competition.
Role Summary
The requirement is for generalist Project Managers to support a pipeline of business-critical projects, addressing immediate delivery demand.
Successful candidates will:
- Integrate into existing delivery teams
- Provide end-to-end project management capability
- Support multiple workstreams and programme initiatives
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and to expected standards
Experience across healthcare, public sector, or digital transformation programmes is highly advantageous.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in complex environments
- Ability to manage delivery across multiple stakeholders and workstreams
- Strong governance, reporting, and risk management capability
- Experience working within structured programme environments
Desirable:
- Experience within Scottish public sector or health sector
- Exposure to digital transformation programmes
