Account Director

A global retail design and strategy agency where delivery sits entirely with the project management team. That is deliberate. It leaves this Account Director free to do one thing: own the client relationship and grow it. 

This is the second most senior role in the New York studio. When most Account Director roles ask you to sit between the client and the creative team, relaying information in both directions and shaping neither, this one is built to do the opposite.

The Role
You’ll own and grow relationships with senior stakeholders at some of the world’s most recognised sportswear and technology brands – the kind of complex accounts that come with real decision-making and reward someone who brings calm and clarity to them. You’ll identify and pitch opportunities to expand accounts, work with creative and project teams to keep delivery aligned to client goals, and represent your accounts in weekly commercial meetings. 

You’ll also help shape how the New York studio operates – process, ways of working, and strategy are open to influence from the right person. The studio is around six people and growing fast, with new brand wins in New York and further conversations live on the West Coast. The client services team is deliberately kept light, with real space to move up.

The Person
You’re an experienced Account Director with six or more years in agency, coming from a retail, environments, retail marketing, or brand design background.

You’ve worked with large, complex global clients, and you can point to specific relationships you’ve personally grown. This is a busy studio, and it suits someone commercially sharp who wants to be in on the action.
